History

Route 202 is a recent addition to the Nova Scotia highway system. It was added in the 1980s, originally extending from Route 236 in Clarksville to the present eastern terminus. In the late 1990s, Route 202 was extended south to form its present routing. Both Google Maps and the Service Nova Scotia database still continue to show 202's old routing.
