WXIX 19 (FOX) in Cincinnati keeps going back & forth between the 2 late games. As of 4:40 EST, current listings show Cardinals @ Chargers. Can I expect this game to be confined to only all of Arizona & San Diego?
I dont see many stations swiching to Arizona @ San Diego because of Donavan McNabb’s return to Philadelphia.
The only markets I see switching are WEST division markets in each conference (Denver, KC, Seattle, and St Louis.)
Interesting! Everyone is going to be tuning in to see the Redskins get humiliated at the Linc in front of Vick and the Eagles. I love it! The true Eagles fans will boo McNabb out of the stadium. It will be the Deadskins vs. the Eagles AND their fans. Philly wins it, 27-13.

i remember a couple of weeks ago they said that the chargers game this weekend against the cards still had 11k tickets left, id be surprised if they have managed to sell that out so be on the lookout for the chargers game to be blacked out locally AGAIN.

I’m not sure what is worse: having to listen to Joe Buck for 3 hours or having to watch another game involving NFC East Teams,
and then the Bears are on primetime again, just saw them on MNF a few days ago

The Chargers game is blacked out anyway, so a large portion of that blue will be getting the Eagles/Redskins game.

@ Ryan…if the Charges game is blackout out..only a small portion of that blue will switch to red…arizona and the se corner in Yuma’s TV market will not move.

The Bakersfield, CA market has been switched from PHI/WAS to SD/ARZ for the FOX late game
Can they just make Atlanta a secondary market for the Eagles already? There are a LOT of people in this city who want to see Vick play every week.

@Gerald and smrdwnnow: Check all of the maps that JP has to offer. If you see an AK next to the game below the maps, that means that is the game that Alaska is going to get in each time slot. There may be times where Fairbanks airs something different than the rest of the state… and JP will note that.
I understand that the SD game is blacked out, but why do we lose the NO-CAR game??? What the f&*K does the Chargers who are in the AFC, have to do with a NFC South game??? What a bunch of BULL S&*T!!!

You lose a game because of the blackout.
since San Diego is blacked out you only get 2 games…1 at 1pm and 1 at 4pm. Since FOX has the doubleheader …the later game is the featured game so they will air the late game.
On CBS the feature game is at 1pm so they air the 1pm CBS game….
had San Diego sold out then you would have gotten both games on the doubleheader…the home team game and the game in the other time slot (1pm game on FOX)
When ever the team is playing home the TV market will only get two NFL games not involving the hometown team…if the hometeam game is a sellout then they will get the extra game of that home game which would air exclusivelt in the market.
This is an absolutely goofy NFL TV rule. If San Diego cannot sell out, the city is punished by not showing a game at 10 AM local time (1 PM ET)?
It would to make much more sense to say if you can’t sell out your 1 PM (4 PM ET) game, you get no NFL game at 1 PM. That might encourage more fans to attend the games.
Spare us the NY teams on prime time…somehow…someway…. Giants are trying by being horrible…

You are punished by not getting to air your local team…and you are prevented from showing the network double header…so you only see the minimum of 2 games…one on each network and one in each time slot.
Why is there no Fox game in the Bay Area in the 1 PM slot after the 9ers away game? So because the Raiders game is blacked out, CBS is substituting it with the Indy-Jax snoozefest instead of Fox showing Skins-Eagles? Someone explain this to me.

The Raiders are at home. FOX in the Bay Area cannot show a late game against the Raiders home game on CBS, even though the Raiders game is blacked out.

Remmeber your TV market has 2 teams….
The FOX network has the doubleheader but because the Raiders are at home (CBS game) you will only see 2 games.
Home market will only get three games is if the doubleheader network is the same one that will air the hometown team only if the blackout is lifted..then its shown exclusivly.
Since the raigers are home…FOX has the doubleheader…
The 49ers game is the FOX game at 1pm…so that leave CBS airing the Raiders game —but since it is not a sell out…that leaves them with just the indy-jax game to air.
Will the Eagles/Redskins game air on Direct TV Sunday ticket in Raiders market???
